stars go twinkle?: Break free

like i said in my previous post, youth camp was awesome. amazing! :D
its gonna be quite long, so embrace yourself. :D

went & registered at around 3? i found out i was in Group 10, with the girls , Michelle Tan ; ourr leader ,Angela,Pearly,Pat&Wendy (: our dorms were in form 3G with caroline's group. The games team,we were joined with group 4, the guys were Joel [leader], Tubbie, Ben,Kevin,Sam,Martin,Brian&Jeremy. which we are teamD. Our team was called chainbreaker(:
went to shower at around 5? i can't remember, then headed down for dinner.we had to say a password before having our meals. We then had our 1st session preached by Pastor Lawrence. & i enjoyed it (: eventhough, he sounds angry but the fact he's not, he's sermons was starightforward :D. The first session was about a purpose in your heart & to dare to be different. not to follow the temptations around us (: He also said that God will touch,transform & test us. Then, he prayed for us. some were touched by God as they began crying. (: then we had supper. ididn't had my supper though, i was feeling hungry. so i headed back & went to bed. but i couldn't sleep. slept & woke up every hour. 1, 2, 3, 4 am. Pat was my alarm clock as she woke me up at 5.25 to shower. some of the girls had woken up already. Went down for devotion at 7 with the girls (: discussed making the right desicions in our life. & having faith in God. then we had our breakfast. Then, team activity 1. so we were joined with group 4. so which means, group 10&4 =team D. first, we did the name juggling thingy? we had to memorise the specific order. one ball was okay, but when there were two, it was confusing. & we began to throw around, just saying hii. :D. then, we had the ring race. its basically, linking arms forming a circle & we couldn't let go. from one end to another, in our fastest time. we had 3 tries, taking the best time. the 1st&2nd attempt was successful, however the last failed. one,two go, for a while, BOOM, we all ended up colliding each other. it was funny in a way. Sam was beside me, & he was being lifted by me &Martin , so he's feet wasn't near the ground at all. it was funny! :D. then, we had session 2. started off with worship, as usual. & Pastor Lawrence talked about Integrity - doing the right thing,wherever youu are. making commitments & putting Jesus at the throne, meaning in your heart. Then, the pastor prayed for us. &i started crying. (: after session 2, we had lunch. then gameschallenge. the first was, linking to each other arms, can't break apart or else they will cut points & to choose 3 people to be blindfolded [ the blinds], 3 lames which means someone has to carry them for they were not able to touch the ground&3 mutes which means not able to talk. the blinds were Wendy,Pearl&Kevin. lames were Sam,Angela&Brian. while the Mute were Joel,Ben&Jeremy. Michelle directed Kevin where to go as she was linked with him , i lead pearl, while Pat or was it Tubbie lead Wendy. Martin, Tubbie,Joel&Jeremy carried the lames. it was an awesome challenge. it needed teamwork! (: However, Michelle got hurt in the bonus round as we all had to do push ups&sit ups. she was sent to the hospital. it was emotional for our group & we were worried. however, we continued our next games. the water balloon. it was alright, didn't get wet. =p. then, headed to shower. had dinner & Michelle came back! she's alright (: thank goodness! played fruit salad for a while then a pantomime which was awesome &then had our session3. it was about victory. there is no such thing as a defeated christian. then we had our prayers. (:. had supper & went up. some of us, the girls, ended up putting our feet outside the railings, sitting there. eating coffeeishchocolate cookies, going all hyped up :D. however, we were then told to go back to our rooms. had a good night sleep that night, as i didn't wake up.

The 3rd morning, Pat, woke me up again. at 5.30 this time. :D. shower ,then had devotions at 7. about second chances. (: God gives us second chance. then had breakfast. the team activity was about bringing as many people across from one end. its complicated to explain. it was quite fun. sorry pearl, for your leg! T.T , then had session4. talked about prayer. opening our mouth, speaking to God. we were then prayed to God out aloud. & suprisingly, i could. i was crying so badly,felt HIS presence & suddenly i black out. (: it was an amazing incredibly touching,emotional session. then we,girls,group 10 had lunch duty. served spaghetti. it was good. & did the dishes. the dishes was horrifying. as in really, it seems like a year dishes in my house. it was hot washing the dishes. finished it in an hour. team D had meeting. discussed about the human machine for tomorrow. then, games challenge. first, was the board quiz thingy. to snatch the right answer. our team was against, Marcus&Ryan's team. we lost to ryan's but won Marcus'. it was fun! then had three way captain ball. instead of two team, we had three team against each other. we were against, Marcus&Dennis team. playing with Dennis team, made me feel so tiny. as the boys were all muscular & they all are like basketballers. They could jump like real high to get the ball. & Leonard's hands were superduper long. i couldn't block the ball at all. they won all matches. after games, we went to wash up. had our dinner. then , session5. this session is a very special session. as we have a funeral service of us. as in, we confessed our sins & our sinful ways die & reborn again as we enter the coffin. it was a fake coffin but still. i screamed when pastor prayed for me when i entered the it. cause i felt it move & someone was pulling me out. i couldn't open my eyes. then i heard the pastor say, the bond, the sins are all broken. & i broke down into tears. i felt God's presence all around. everyone was crying. as we were all touched by God. as those who entered the coffin, all came out crying. i cried, God spoke to me, as He told me to let it all out. there's so much that i've been holding back. the rough patch i've been through, all came to life. when i opened my eyes, i saw becky. i spilled all to Becky. (: & i felt so much better. my heart began less heavy. then, went for supper. headedback to room, washed up. went to rachel's dorm, talked till 1 & went back. couldn't sleep until around 4. so basically i slept for only two hours. :D. cause i woke up at 6. i was soo soo tiredd. then had devotions at 7. discussed about having God shaped our life. Our life is all in his hands. we then had team practise for the human machine. we did a lawn mower. which Martin,Sam,Kevin&Jeremy was a very cute lawnmower. :D. had breakfast. then we did our lawn mower. the other group was funny & awesome (: HAHA. overall, Ryan's team won the whole game in camp.(: had our last session. talked about us, we being ambassadors of Christ. then, Pastor prayed for us, & ended up crying again. so was the others.
Sam won the most helpful. Surprisingly, i got the best camper & Mei fong got like the best participant or something like that? :D. had lunch. packed up, cleaned the class. & at around 2 it was time to go home. i went home at 2.30.

YOUTH camp always brings amazing experience & unforgetabble ones. this year was full with surprises. i enjoyed it very much, as well as all the other years i went. next year, youu'll see me there again. :D.
